Today is January 2, 2026 , and ToyChats is officially doing a soft launch of our brand-new features!
1) PPoints System (Review Points)
We are resuming review approvals starting today.
Because this is a soft launch, approvals will be slower than usual while we monitor that point generation is working smoothly.
We will begin with the oldest submitted reviews first , then move forward in order.
2) PPoint Store (Gift Cards First)
The store is live with gift cards first , so you can redeem right away:

3) Review Task Center (Coming Very Soon)
The Task System will launch in about 1 to 2 days . We’re doing final testing right now.
We will start by posting US-only tasks first , then gradually expand to international creators.
If you’re outside the US, thank you for being patient. We’re coming for you next. 
Important tax note for 2026 (Gift Card Redemptions)
Starting in 2026 , to comply with US tax rules, creators who redeem gift cards will need to submit tax information so we can issue the appropriate tax form if required.

In practice, this usually means: you provide a W-9 , and we may issue a 1099-NEC when the reporting threshold is met.

Gift cards are generally treated as cash equivalent and taxable .
