🤔 Honest Question: Why Is No One Spending Their PPoints Yet?

Okay, we’re a little confused… and genuinely curious.

Since the PPoint system went live, we’ve already issued a lot of points to creators.

We also opened the PP Store, where points can be redeemed for gift cards:

PP Store:

PPoint Store | Redeem Sex Toys & Gift Cards with ToyChats Points | ToyChats

Currently available rewards include:

• $20 Gift Card
• $50 Gift Card
• $100 Gift Card

But here’s the weird part

Almost no one is redeeming their points yet.

So we want to hear directly from you:

• Are you saving points for future rewards or physical items?
• Are gift cards not appealing enough right now?
• Are you waiting to see what else will be added to the PP Store?
• Or is the redemption flow unclear or easy to miss?

No pressure, no judgment.

This system is still new, and your feedback directly affects how we expand the PP Store next.

What would actually make you want to spend your PPoints?

I like the PPoints system flow over waiting for a random email to come into my inbox. I’m not exactly sure how it works, but seeing the PPoints directly tied to a video being approved/scheduled is nicer than what it was previously.

I guess I’m just kinda waiting for 1 large redeem once more of my reviews are approved over a bunch of smaller ones haha I know TC’s backed up on approvals right now so I’m not pressed

I’m saving up the points/needing to ask you about them before anything else. I’m only at 80k points right now, which isn’t quite enough for a $100 giftcard. As someone based in Europe who would have to redeem these giftcards with American companies, smaller denomination giftcards aren’t worth redeeming points for. It’s hard finding online stores that will allow me to pay with 2 or more cards tbh, I wish there was an option for $250. Depending on company I’m buying from, international shipping is expensive I also wasn’t able to just… transfer giftcard money into my bank accounts or PayPal or anything, which I had hoped to be able to do.

I’m going out on a limb and guessing other folks probably want to save up for the bigger gift card denomination too or to see what toys they can “buy”

I am quite curious what will be added to the PP Store! And if there’ll be options for those of us over here in Europe (or elsewhere outside the US).

I’m really glad you like this setup. Saving up points and doing a one-time redemption, haha, that’s totally fine!

The current system is really about keeping the workflow organized. We want to be more open and let everyone participate in choosing the toys, while also tying everything to timelines. That helps us massively reduce our workload and makes sure every test sample is fully tracked.

Hats are a small thing. We’re still discussing other items. The main issue is really shipping costs, which get complicated, especially when we’re trying to treat reviewers outside the US fairly.

The PayPal situation is already under discussion. It’s mainly a compliance issue, and our finance team and CPA are being extra cautious because they don’t want anything to go wrong.

International shipping is just insanely expensive. If it weren’t for that, we would’ve already listed products in the PP Store. Please hang tight with us a bit longer, we’re working on a solid, practical solution as fast as we can!
