We just launched a brand new Paid Review Program — where your honest opinions can turn into real rewards. Whether you’re into writing detailed reviews or recording spicy video takes, there’s something for everyone.
Quick rundown :
Get paid when your review gets approved
Choose from written or video format
No need to wait for free toys — use what you already own!
Now we want to hear your thoughts:
Is this something you’d join?
Do you think this helps make the community more real and trustworthy?
Any feedback on what we could improve or clarify?
Drop your take below — we’re all ears (and a bit excited). Let’s make this program even better together!
And if you already joined — tell us what your experience was like!
Need help thinking of a reply? Try one of these:
“I’ve got a wand I’ve been dying to write about—signing up now!”
“Just submitted my first review! Can’t wait to see what toy I get ”
“Question: Can I review kink furniture or only classic toys?”
“Wait… we get PAID and get TOYS?! This is the dream.”
“Do I need to show my face in the video review to qualify?”
“Time to finally review that rabbit that’s been collecting dust. ”
We joined, and we have 1 approved review since then (pending publication), 1 review in the process of being approved, and 1 review being written. We will see how it goes!
Will it be 1 digital gift card per review or they could be combined? It might be easier for us to manage one $40 gift card for 2 reviews, than 2 times $20 for 2 reviews.

I don’t think I got any sort of confirmation after signing up, so I don’t know if I’m in the program or not. I guess some sort of message letting us know whether we’re approved or not would be helpful
I love idea! Much like @BeautyAndBlacksmith, I’d love if we had the ability to combine cards somehow. Maybe “payouts” once a month that credits for reviews the previous month into one larger card? Or the ability to have the money added to a PayPal account instead of the virtual visa giftcards?
That’s an excellent suggestion! We’ll definitely include this in a future email notification. I honestly hadn’t thought of it—my bad, and thanks again for pointing it out!
Combining gift cards is definitely doable — we can coordinate with the editorial team on that. In fact, we issue them weekly because we don’t want everyone waiting too long
As for direct payments via PayPal, we’ve considered that too. However, due to U.S. legal requirements, anyone receiving cash payments must submit a W-9 or W-8 form, especially if the total exceeds $600 in a calendar year.
That said, we’ll definitely look into ways to make this process smoother!
Personally, I don’t mind filling out a W-9, as I have to do that for most of my online work anyway. I imagine that even with giftcards, we’d likely have to do that anyway?
Just like @BeautyAndBlacksmith and @sydneyscreams4u I am also very excited about this new program. This will really help keep the quality of reviews up and make this community stronger. Just waiting for confirmation on signing up.
The gift cards are a weird legal workaround. We’ll probably require the W9 after the $600 threshold but this way, people don’t have to give their social to the random sex website they just found a few minutes ago
We’re reworking the Google forms and will try to send out an email. Everyone that “applies” is APPROVED. It’s just a matter of whether or not the review itself is approved, but those guidelines are already outlined. We’ll try to make it clearer
The program is absolutely amazing and such a cool incentive – we’re super excited to see how it boosts the overall review game!
That said… it’s a bit tricky for us in Germany to take part. Anything that counts as monetary compensation (even gift cards!) is unfortunately not that simple here tax-wise.
So if you others treat yourself to a nice bottle of wine with your first card – please raise a glass for us too!
Feedback on toys without having to buy is much needed! Though finding an honest review that’s not just “good” or “would recommend” would be nice to see. A lot of others out there don’t have the money to just experiment with toys. For me personally I would only buy something that I know I am gonna put use into. Make the purchase more worth the price. Unfortunately it’s not getting any cheaper.
Totally get where you’re coming from — and that’s exactly why ToyChats exists!
We know toys can be expensive, and not everyone has the means to keep “experimenting” just to find what works. That’s why we have a program where you can get toys for free, just by sharing honest reviews.
Here’s how it works:
First, you submit a review of a toy you already own — it helps us understand your style and keeps everything authentic.
Once your review is approved by our editors, we’ll reach out and send you a free toy for your next review!
Right now, we’re also offering $20–$40 gift cards per approved review (depending on whether it’s written or video).
This reward is part of a limited-time campaign and will end once the quota is filled — so it’s first come, first served!
So yes — you don’t need to buy anything up front, and we’re all about real, detailed, experience-based feedback — not just “it’s good.”
we would love to do that but then there are so many tax implications that come with that :c i did find that the gift card carrier lets you add it to your google wallet. i’d imagine you can do the same for apple pay
