The comedic aspect, the writing freedom, the job of it, the fun/awkward stories that have come from it and the overall distraction has surprisingly helped me crawl out of a dark place, find a new level of self-confidence, an appreciation for self-love (not just sexually) and a reignited a desire to be quirky/free.
