# Chastity Cage Suggestion

Hephaestus and I are interested in trying out a chastity cage for him.
The challenge is that his penis has a fairly large girth, just over 1.5 inches in diameter.
Most of the cages we’ve found are 1.5 inches or smaller, which would probably be too small.
The only option that _might_ work is **The Curve** by CB-X:

Even then, it might still be a very tight squeeze. (We get that snug is the point of a cock cage, but it still needs to fit in the first place! 😂)
We really like the look of clear plastic cages and aren’t fans of the metal ones.
Do you have any suggestions?
Would using cold to make his dick smaller before inserting it in the cage work?

Just speaking from a safety perspective, I personally wouldn’t recommend this toy. It gives me a strong feeling that it could lead to injury. Better to play safe than sorry! 🙏

When it’s soft, there’s no problem, but when it gets hard, it’s easy to get hurt. And I’ve heard of cases where injuries have been sustained, not entirely due to this type of cock cage of course, but there have certainly been cases where injuries have been sustained from incorrect use.
For restrictions, I think handcuffs or other bondage props can be safer to play with.

Oh gosh, totally unrelated to cages, but we once traveled with friends for a while – one guy in the group was holding back for _a long time_ (like… way too long 😅). He wasn’t using a cage or anything, but the pressure just kept building.
Long story short: something went wrong with his testicle (we think a vein burst or something got twisted?) and he had to go to the hospital. It was super painful, and honestly kinda terrifying. 😬
Moral of the story: if there’s pressure involved, make sure there’s also _some_ kind of release eventually – one way or another! 😅

It sounds like a testicular torsion, which is a “medical emergency where the spermatic cord twists, cutting off blood supply to the testicle.”
As far as I know, it’s not related to holding back 🙂

The BON4 Company has a big array of sizes, you could look at. You could also try a company that can make custom cages. There’re a descent amount of options now adays. Get a good quality one, spend a couple Benjamins. Properly taken care of,it will last a life time. Hope this helped.

Ive had a chastity cage for 10 or so years, never been hurt in anyway. There’s a learning process, like anything new. There will probably be some discomfort at first, you’ve incaged your penis and balls. You’ll have adjustments to do, on how long you’re wearing it and when. Sleeping with one on can be challenging. Play smart.
